It’s official: Alexander Zverev will face American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic in the first round of the Bitpanda Hamburg Open on Monday. The appearance of the World No. 2 and hometown favorite is highly

anticipated. Zverev is scheduled to play the third match on Centre Court, with a not-before start time of 3:30 PM. 

Before Zverev takes the court, No. 3 seed Andrey Rublev will open his Hamburg campaign against Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second match of the day on Centre Court. 

In the early evening, an exciting all-German first-round showdown will take place: Jan-Lennard Struff will meet rising star Justin Engel. The 17-year-old, who received a wildcard for the main draw, will be looking to score his first career win in Hamburg – but will face a tough test against the experienced Struff. 

All signs point to a thrilling Monday at the Bitpanda Hamburg Open.
