The Bitpanda Hamburg Open 2025 has its first shining winners. Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori beat Andres Molteni (Argentina) and Fernando Romboli (Brazil) 6:4 and 6:0 in the doubles final after 1:08 hours.
This is Bolelli and Vavassori’s fifth title together on the ATP 500 Tour, tournament director Enric Molina presented the trophy in front of a roaring crowd on the Centre Court. On their way to the final, the Italians had beaten the English duo Glasspool/Cash 7:5 and 6:2 in the first round. In the quarter-finals, Bolelli and Vavassori dropped their only set of the tournament, but defeated Briton Murray and American Ram 6:2, 3:6 and 10:5. In the semi-finals on Friday, the Italians were no slouches against the British duo Salisbury/Skuspi, winning 6:3 and 6:1.
The 2020 Hamburg-winner Andrey Rublev and Flavio Cobolli will meet in the singles final at the Rothenbaum from 2.30 pm.
